Sharon Commins

Head of National Services

    Sharon joined the IRC as Head of National Services in 2024. Before this, she was CEO     for almost 3 years with a Local Development Company, delivering a range of community     programmes. She previously worked as Strategy & Service Manager with SafetyNet     Primary Health Care, an NGO delivering healthcare to marginalised communities.  

    Sharon has over 10 years’ experience delivering humanitarian primary healthcare and     community health programmes in Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda     through her work with Concern and GOAL.

Rosemarie Hayden

Community, Unit & Youth Manager

    Rosemarie provides oversight management and support to the volunteer operational     areas of Community, Unit & Youth, assisting desk officers to best support volunteers.

Triona Walsh

Interim Manager of Community, Unit & Youth

    Triona has been an IRC volunteer for five years and joined as staff in April 2025.     Her background is in logistics, management and European clients, alongside extensive     volunteering and humanitarian missions.
